How we are different
A child is not a number or just a kid passing through. It is almost like a 'home away from home'
What differentiates Synergy School is the focus on cultivating potential and empowering groups and individuals to think and create for themselves.
What we value:
- Creativity: Encouraging freedom that invites fun, hands-on, imaginative learning
- Relationships: Engaging in meaningful, nurturing, communicative relationships that bring greater synergy – in an age where life is about how we interacts with others.
- Accountability: Empowering children, teachers and parents to be responsible for their actions.
- Growth: Constantly learning, building self-esteem, living our possibilities – as children, teachers and parents.
How we make this possible:
- Experiential learning – learning is fun, creative and hands-on because the curriculum is guided by the children's interest and is made relevant to life: Emergent Curriculum*.
- Our teachers are trained communication and relationship specialists – building each child's self-esteem by affirming their strengths, allowing each to glow through individual attention. The teachers themselves constantly learn and grow.
- Parents, teachers and children create and learn together, forcing meaningful relationships.
- Effective communication skills and conflict resolution.
- Multi-age classes, mirroring what happens in life.
- Equipping parents with new skills that align home and school approaches, providing consistency and deeper learning to children.
- Daily communication with parents through journals and informal chats, enabling closer involvement in a child's life.
